Marg Helgenberger is an American actress who achieved the limelight for her performance as Siobhan Ryan in the television show "Ryan's Hope". Her path from a rural town girl to Hollywood was fascinating. Early on, her dream wasn't to be an actor. In fact, she wanted to follow into her mother's footsteps by becoming nurse. In her quest to decide on the program she would like to study and she started to become intrigued by the idea of being an actor. An agent scouting talent noticed her while she was performing in a show at the university. He encouraged her to go on a path acting. Her fame as an actor after starring on the film "Ryan's Hope". The most highly acclaimed of her performances was that of the victim of chemical exposure in the hit film "Erin Brockovich". Marg has a busy schedule however she manages to make time for charity work. Every year, she hosts an annual golf tournament for famous people to raise funds for breast cancer research.
